Creating Jobs for the 21st Century: Research on Workplace Democracy and Employee Ownership

ARNO, in collaboration with the Institute for Economic Democracy from Slovenia, has conducted a study titled “Creating Jobs for the 21st Century: Workplace Democracy and Ownership for Productivity and Youth Retention.” This research provides valuable insights and best practices on the employee ownership model (ESOP).

We have prepared a detailed analysis of how economic democracy can contribute to the creation of sustainable and fair workplaces, with a special focus on experiences from Slovenia and North Macedonia. The study explores:

  • How the employee ownership model enhances productivity and supports the long-term retention of young talent
  • Successful examples from Slovenia that can serve as inspiration for our economy
  • The challenges and opportunities for implementing the ESOP model in North Macedonia

We encourage you to read the study and explore the perspectives for the future development of this model in our country.
