ARNO is an organization for social innovation established in North Macedonia in 2013 with the special mission of development and implementation of social innovation and promotion of new options and contemporary approaches for societal change. Immediately after our very first project,t we became recognized as a ground-breaking leader in the field of Social Entrepreneurship and through the 11 years of managing the “ Green Ideas Competition”  we are acknowledged as a national resource for awareness and inspiration in the field of green and social entrepreneurship.
For 7 years, ARNO has been one of the local incubators for social enterprises in the WB6 under the framework of the regional project RISE.

ARNO has trained and educated more than 400 green and social entrepreneurs through these programs, and has provided technical and financial support for the establishment and development of over 30 green social businesses in North Macedonia, totaling over 150,000 euros.

ARNO has experience in adult education and VET in green and social entrepreneurship and circular economy, implementing innovative programs and educational concepts in formal education, toolkits, and curricula for social and green entrepreneurship.
